Vulnerability
Fear of vulnerability is slowly killing us. Maybe you've shared some pain points with others, but is there more for you? We think staying silent about our real lives keeps us safe, but it isolates us and steals our freedom. Ken will talk about God's standards for vulnerability, how you can do it safely, and the radically new life that is available for you.
Day 2
Surrender
All of us who know Jesus have surrendered. But have we surrendered everything? What would that look like? And why would we do it? Ken will share his story of total surrender and how that CHANGED his life. When we don't live radically surrendered lives, God isn't directing our lives; we are. But when He is leading, look out!
Day 3
New Creation ID
The enemy wants us to believe we are no-good failures. He uses our temptations and sins to accuse us, defame us, and define us. But God is a redeemer, forgiver, and deliverer. Learn how to upgrade your view of God. Ken will unpack a couple of passages from Romans that transformed his journey out of LGBT. When we believe we are nothing more than sinners, we'll sin by faith. But a whole new world awaits us in God.
I get it. I’ve been there.
I began a pursuit of my true sexual identity in 1987 when my battle against homosexuality grew into intentions of suicide. After decades of failed attempts at freedom, I encountered God in areas & ways that transformed me. The following years healed childhood trauma, replaced lies with truth, forged deep intimacy with God, and established self-love and masculine identity.
Today, I meet with others and help place them into the hands of the God who helped me find genuine identity and inner peace. And I help churches and organizations understand and navigate LGBTQ issues. My greatest joys are my beautiful wife and our four incredible children.
